I just finished the first course: Fundamentals of Clo3D from the Clo3D Virtual Fashion Design program by Parsons School of Design! I have learned so much from the 9 week course and would like to share my story. I have always had a special interest in fashion design and recently started to learn 3D modeling and 3D deep learning. The Parsons fashion design program with Clo3D is perfect for me to learn both fashion design and 3D!

How I discovered the program?

I have always been interested in fashion design and I enjoy creating fashion sketches with digital drawing and painting. Soon I realized sewing is a very important part of fashion design. I never found the time to learn sewing or patternmaking as it requires physical setup such as a sewing machine and buying fabric etc.

Around end of 2021 I started researching 3D deep learning algorithms and at the same time learning 3D modeling with Blender and then Norma Sculpt on iPad. Also dabbled in 3D painting with Procreate when 5.2 released.

Early this year I searched for 3D courses to further my study in 3D and came across the Parsons Clo3D Virtual Fashion Design…
